Using the Template

You'll know that you have the template activated by locating the International SEMATECH pulldown menu included in the Word toolbar.

Use the Techxfer Format Toolbar to format your text as you enter it. View a more detailed example of the toolbar here.

Open the Format Assistant dialog box from the pulldown menu before you begin your document. Click on Use Autonumbering to Number Figures and Tables. View an example of this dialog box below.



Details on the importance of this function are explained on the next page, "Activating the Format Assistant."

Important formatting information for the document is contained within section breaks between various parts of the document. Deleting section breaks and/or blank pages will result in irregular page numbering, headers, footers, and page layout.
