Document Template and User's Guide
The Technology Transfer department has developed a Microsoft Word template that aids authors of SEMATECH documents. Benefits of using the template are as follows:
- Boilerplate front and back matter allows authors to easily prepare draft documents with the look and feel of the final publication.
- Toolbar buttons and/or hotkeys speed formatting of section headings and figure and table references.
- Word's cross reference feature allows easy movement of figures, tables, and section references without having to manually renumber.
- Standardized formatting reduces author's document preparation time and Tech Transfer's production time.
