Probe Card Cost of Ownership Model

The ISMI Probe Card Cost Model is intended to reduce the multitude of complex factors involved in the probe card selection process to a single measure of value—Cost of Ownership.

The model incorporates two worksheets that allow the input of information unique to a production environment and the costs of various probe card alternatives. The model then presents cost summary information, clearly showing the overall cost of ownership—over time—of each potential solution, details of the major expenses of each alternative, and the break-even period for more expensive initial purchases.
