Workshop: "Equipment Energy Reduction"

The ISMI Supplier Energy Workshop will provide a forum for the semiconductor industry's key suppliers of manufacturing equipment and support components to present the latest information on their energy conservation programs to ISMI Member Companies and other device manufacturers. Industry experts from the IC-makers community will provide feedback on the presentations and will share their point of view and demands for future developments with the OEM’s/OPM’s.
Attendees at this 8-hour workshop will hear:
- Key suppliers of fab capital and support equipment present their latest information on Semi S23-measurements and on their strategy on future energy consumption reduction.
- Industry experts provide information on current industry trends in energy conservation.
- ISMI staff present up-to-date information of energy conservation projects.
ISMI's Environment, Safety and Health award, Excellence in Equipment Energy Reduction, will be presented at the end of the workshop.
About the Facilitator
Sandro Pampel is an Infineon assignee to ISMI's ESH group, where he serves as the project leader for the mature equipment energy reduction project. Pampel also chairs additionally the Supplier ESH leadership team.
Pampel has 10 years experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, including intrinsic equipment efficiency (IEE) studies, overall equipment effectiveness analysis (OEE) projects, partner workcenter analysis and productivity increase projects, and trainer for continuous improvement and Kaizen activities.
Pampel is a diplomat of the Institute of Material Flow and Logistics at the University of Dresden/Germany, and has studied at the Leningrad Polytechnic in St. Petersburg, Russia and Brighton University in England.
