Important Dates
Abstract Submission Period April 1–June 27
Notification of Acceptance August 8
Presentation Submission Period August 8–September 22
Final Presentations/Poster Due September 22

Submitting Abstracts

All abstracts must be submitted using the online submission form.

  • The extended abstract is limited to one page of text (max. of 1000 words; 9 pt. font, MS Word format) and one page for figures, if needed. Summarize your paper's theme in as much detail as allowed by the word count limitation.
  • Abstracts, presentations, papers, posters, and any and all material presented at ISMI Symposium must NOT contain CONFIDENTIAL or PROPRIETARY information.
  • ISMI will reproduce each accepted presentation and poster for inclusion in the symposium proceedings.
  • ISMI is solely responsible for acceptance or rejection of presentations and papers.
  • Paper or poster must not have been published in any other external meeting or periodical or contain a significant amount of previously published material.
