ISMI RAM Calculator (RAMCalc)
The ISMI RAM Calculator (RAMCalc) is an online web-based calculator that enables SEMI E10-conformant reporting of reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) metrics such as mean time between failure (MTBF), mean time to repair (MTTR), mean time off line (MTOL), and availability.
The ISMI RAMCalc supports both single- and multi-path cluster tools and intended process flow metrics.
How is the ISMI RAM Calculator used?
ISMI’s RAMCalc can be used by equipment, industrial, and maintenance engineers for consistent data collection of equipment states per SEMI E10 for metrics benchmarking, performance reporting, Marathon test data collection and reporting, and E10 training.
- RAMCalc provides a solution to capture E10 states for single-path as well as complex multi-path cluster tools
- Performance data collection is also available via intended process set (IPS) metrics
- A four-state calculator supports marathon test data collection needs for single-path and multi-path cluster tools
- A six-state calculator supports high-volume manufacturing environments where data collection for single-path and multi-path cluster tools per SEMI E10 is required
- An n-state calculator is adaptable for specific end user needs where other states have been defined consistent with or beyond that of SEMI E10
How to access the ISMI RAMCalc
Basic (single-path) RAMCalc
Anyone in the semiconductor industry can access the basic (single path) ISMI RAMCalc at no charge. See instructions at right.

Collaborative Application Development Environment (CADe)
RAMCalc source code is available via ISMI's Collaborative Application Development Environment (CADe). CADe is a “community source” code sharing program that's available at no charge to ISMI members, and on a give-to-get basis to non-member companies. Contact us for more information on CADe.
