Equipment Data Acquisition (EDA) Interface Discussion
This forum discusses questions related to the newly developed suite of standards for the Equipment Data Acquisition (a.k.a. Interface A). This forum hosts technical discussion on the standards and documents associated with Interface A. The focus is to clarify the standards, discuss implementation issues, provide direction to other participants, and learn from participants by exchanging experiences and technical expertise.

Discussion
The Equipment Integration and Automation Standards Discussion board provides an online forum for discussion of the SEMI standards related to factory automation. The board allows for participation from IC makers, OEMs, suppliers, consultants, service providers, and others. Use this board to pose questions, discuss issues, and document learning related to the follwing SEMI standards: E30; E37.1; E84; E87; E94; E40; and E90.
To participate the discussions:
Step 1
Get an account. If you already have an
account, login and move to Step 2.
If you're an employee of one of ISMT's member companies, go to the member account request form. Member account requests are approved by your company, so you'll need to wait to get the approval notice before trying to log in.
If not, go to the general account request form. Approval is automatic for these accounts.
(Okay, we know you're wondering why members have to go through an approval process and the general public account is automatic....members get access to other information on the website that the general public does not.)
Step 2
Subscribe to the discussion.
Log in, look in the black bar at the top of the home page, you'll see a link to Public Discussions. Choose the forums to which you wish to subscribe. Submit request.
Step 3
Enter the discussion space.
Return to your home page, you'll see
a link to the discussion space, like this:
